Another Mess Up

ISO 100, aperture 8.0, and a shutter speed of 1/160th of a second

I took this picture for the yearbook. I think they were doing a section about how this girl won a state competition in art. I enjoyed taking this image because she was really sweet and the artwork was pretty neat. I took this image with a 17-50mm lens. It was cloudy outside so I should have had my ISO at 400 and my shutter speed at 400, that a way my aperture could be smaller... which would then make the background more bokeh and the background could have been in less focus. The picture turned out fine, but I wasn't thinking like I should have been when i took this image. She and her art work could be a lot more focused.
